AEG Returns to Sub-Saharan Africa

Mining companies that have acquired large AEG Machines in the past now have no problem in replacing or acquiring new parts that conform to today's standard.
Even though the AEG Corporation was dissolved, LDW, Bremen Germany owns the original drawings of AEG`s large electrical machines and can therefore assist in manufacturing new machines with the same mechanical design. (Please see the complete history of AEG on www.ldw.de)
Currently Red Metal Mining is replacing an AEG Rock Winder Motor, manufactured in 1961 in Zambia. The original files relating to the Rock Winder where pulled for LDW`s vast archives. The drawings are still hand drawn with correspondence from the factory in Bremen to Zambia using the telex.
